Covid - 19 and Caring

The Covid-19  pandemic is still with us and affects much of everyday life, making things even harder for those who are caring for someone. For more information please visit our Latest News Section of our website.

Who is a carer?

Carers are people who provide unpaid care by looking after someone of any age, who is disabled, seriously ill, has a long term condition or is coping with addiction. These people are called carers but many people would probably say they were just "looking after someone".

Respite Directory Support

Carers need respite (time off) and many people tell us how they struggle to take any time out for themselves because of their caring responsibilities.

We can support you to figure out what service could be best for you and the person you're caring for, whether that be a day centre, residential home, a sitter or even a short break away.

Speak to us about using our Respite Directory Service to help you find alternative care services.
